The difference between a netbook and a notebook is basically a few things.

A notebook is basically like a portable desktop with all of the functionality of a desktop. you can run almost all of the programs you want and multi task with different programs.

A netbook is geared more tward surfing the internet, picking up your internet mail and checking Facebook or your favorite social networking site. Netbooks generally have alot less memory, hard drive, and processor speed than a desktop or laptop. the reason for this is because of the targeted use of the netbook.

It is possible to load your favorite programs onto a netbook however expect very poor performance and speed issue while running them.

Hope this info helps you decide the ultlimate question.... Netbook or Notebook?
